“Podcast” is one of the many words which have become quite popular lately. Actually, if you do not know what it means, you are quite likely not to feel convenient in Internet or high-tech related conversations. Basically, podcast is what lets all the people have access to audio and/or video files via devices such as IPod, mp3 and mp4 for example. Trying to make a comparison between podcasting and reading a newspaper/magazine or watching TV is quite stupid because they have nothing to do with each other. The main difference is that the podcasting gives everyone access to downloadable files even if it is the middle of a business day: all you need to have if you want to these files to be accessible is a personal computer or any other device supporting video files.

Podcasting also gives an individual the chance to easily communicate with the world his or her thoughts and ideas. If you don’t own an iPod or a portable device that supports this, you can even access podcasts through your computer. Most people may be under the false impression that they can be accesses only through iPods as it sounds so.
