Her choice will depend on several factors; her overall health, her age, her financial situation and her choice for birthing location.
A health care provider can determine how enjoyable your experience is. Women need to be comforted as much as possible even by their health car provider during labor. Some feel that the hospital setting is the most secure setting and prefer this for their place to give birth. Physicians are choice for women delivering in a hospital setting. However, some midwives do have a connection with hospitals and they may be a good choice as health care provider.
Distinguishing between Obstetricians, practitioners and midwives.
The obstetrician specializes in delivering babies and pregnant women. They will almost exclusively only practice in a hospital setting. They are in a highly specialized field of medicine devoted to the surgical procedures of women, the woman’s reproductive system and the detection of gynecological issues. Difficulties with pregnancies should be treated by an obstetrician.
