The CW network has announced that it will bring Smallvilleback for a 10th season, but unfortunately Lex Luthor is not coming along for the ride.
The long-running reboot of the Superman story, starring Tom Welling as Clark Kent and Erica Durance as Lois Lane, has enjoyed a ratings revival after being moved to Friday nights in the fall and will stretch it’s run into season ten with an unexpected rush of momentum. Smallville is currently the CW’s best performing show for male audiences and has dramatically improved their Friday night ratings.
Rumors were flying that Michael Rosenbaum would also return to the series and reprise his iconic role as Clark Kent’s greatest enemy Lex Luthor, but Rosenbaum has sadly debunked that report through Twitter.
Smallville revolves around the adventures of Clark Kent, a reporter for the Daily Planet newspaper and also a hero currently called The Blur, as he journeys from small town Kansas farm boy to Metropolis superhero. Clark Kent’s allies include the Green Arrow, who is played by Justin Hartley, and his enemies include the villainous Zod played by Callum Blue. Read more...

The Nintendo DS is a dual-screen handheld game console created and manufactured by Nintendo. It was released in 2004 in the United States, Canada and Japan. The console is similar to the Game Boy Advance SP, with two LCD screens inside and with the bottom a touch screen. The Nintendo DS also features a built-in microphone and supports wireless IEEE 802.11 (Wi-Fi) standards. It allows players to interact with each other within short distance (about 10-30 m) or online with the Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection service.
What is a supercard? In fact, it’s a device that can be plugged into the external port and allows a person to approach content from an SD micro-card. Since you can load one of these flash cards, it makes all sorts of potential applications for your DS available. It can be music, pictures or a bunch of nintendo games. Nowadays, there are several different supercards available for the Nintendo DS, lite (NDS) and Nintendo Gameboy Advance SP (GBA).
But how can you know which one is suitable for you? Where to get this supercard? How to use the software? Read more...

Prices of games have been continued going up and up in the recent years, and in stores this situation isn’t going to change any more. Fortunately, for all us gamers, companies have started to provide new services such as downloading games straight to our consoles only for a little of money. For instance, one company named Wii Media allows you to download as many games as you like. For the same price you can only buy a single game in the store. Except that they also provide you movies, music and TV shows for no extra cost!
Lots of people can’t believe it’s true when they hear of this, and think it must be illegal. I must admit I thought it was too good to be true when I first heard about the news, but it is actually legal. Why is the price so much less than physical games? It is simply to explain. There are no costs of getting the games to shops.
Some gamers can’t afford games, so they often select carefully. It is difficult to take a chance without worrying about wasting your money. With download services, once you’ve signed up you can download as many games as you want for no extra cost, so there is no reason for you not to try out new games! Read more...

Work Parties Do Not Have to Be Boring: If you are looking to improve your reputation as a boss, considering an office party band for the next party might be a good step. Little work perks, like an amazing yearly work party, can create solidarity in the office and improve workplace morale. There is something very special about seeing quality live music. Here are a few suggestions for a successful office party.
Take a Survey: Ask your colleagues what kinds of music they prefer. This information will be useful in genre selection. While many bands can tailor their set-lists to audience, if most of the office likes traditional rock and roll, this will be helpful in the selection process. All of this information may be compiled in a list to present to prospective bands.
Locate the Stage: A stage does not have to be built for the party. The stage area may be made by clearing away some garbage cans from a walkway area. It is just important for there to be an open area for people to watch the band, and a spot for the musical group to plug in their instruments if necessary. The band will also be able to tell you about their specific space needs. Many of them are used to playing in different environments and are generally flexible. Read more...

Welcome to my Zygor In-Game Alliance … Horde World of Warcraft 1-80 Leveling Guides Article.
The Zygor Leveling Guides are created by John Cook and are designed to enable World of Warcraft players to quickly increase their level. With the new Zygor Guide you don’t have to switch back and forth between screens so you can keep more attention on the game play.
There are two separate screen modes. One is a large picture view that shows you all of the steps that you need to complete to advance your character in the quests. Players do not use this modes a lot because the amount of information affects the game play. The second screen mode is smaller and shows the current and next steps that you need to complete the current quest. A small arrow shows you the direction in which you need to travel to reach the next encounter or step in the game.
Zygor’s Leveling Guide is a simple to use guide for new players and it’s the least intrusive one. You can learn from the guide your character’s level increase.
Another great thing about such guides is its interactive components.
There are only a few guides that are designed with an in-game guide mode. Read more...

The NBA All Star game was played without a couple of high profile participants this year as the Los Angeles Lakers’ Kobe Bryant and Philadelphia 76ers’ Allen Iverson would not play due to injury. Kobe and ‘AI’ were the latest in a string of injuries to All Star players that also claimed Portland’s Brandon Roy and New Orleans’ Chris Paul. The NBA has been much more strict about attendance at the All Star game since a number of players skipped out with dubious injuries.
Kobe Bryant has been plagued with minor injuries all year, but missed the Lakers’ last three games prior to the All Star contest due to an ankle sprain. Los Angeles is hopeful that by not playing in the game that Kobe will be able to return to action immediately after play resumes following the All Star break. Bryant did travel to Dallas to participate in All Star game festivities. Kobe is always up for a party, and reportedly had a fabulous time in Dallas over the weekend. Read more...

Two titles changed hands at UFC 92, with Rashad Evans defeating Forrest Griffin by TKO to win the light heavyweight title and Frank Mir knocking out Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira to claim the UFC interim heavyweight title. The event had been dubbed The Ultimate 2008 and every one of the main cards six matches ended via TKO.
While nominally taking subordinate status to the Evans/Griffin main event the most shocking result by far was Frank Mir’s second round TKO stoppage of Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. Nogueira was the overwhelming favorite coming into the fight and had never been stopped inside the distance during a career where hed faced the best of the best: Fedor Emelianenko (three times), Josh Barnett (twice), Semmy Schilt and Mirko Cro Cop among many others. In the matchup to fill the Interim UFC title vacated by Randy Couture, Nogueira had absorbed a punching barrage from Tim Sylvia before gaining a submission victory.
Mir, meanwhile, had been on the verge of a full time move to the broadcast booth before his victory over WWE superstar turned MMA fighter Brock Lesnar. The conventional wisdom concerning Mir was that hed never fully recovered from a serious motorcycle accident in 2004. He eventually returned to the octagon, and after two TKO losses in his first three comeback fights began to consider the possibility that he just didnt have it any more. Read more...

New York Jets rookie quarterback Mark Sanchez tracked down NFL legend Joe Namath before the game looking for a pep talk and some pointers. What the NFL Hall of Famer told him had a very beneficial effect. Sanchez looked very decidedly not like a rookie as he threw for 272 yards and a touchdown against one interception. More importantly, the Jets easily beat the host Houston Texans 24-7.
NFL sports betting enthusiasts who took the Jets as +4 road underdogs cashed their tickets with the outright win. New York improved to 10-8 ATS as an underdog over the past three NFL seasons. The combined 31 points scored went UNDER the posted total of 44. The Jets have a slight UNDER bias over the past three years overall at 15-18, while they evened their total mark as an underdog at 9-9.
After the game, Sanchez recounted what Namath had told him in their pregame conversation:
“What a pep talk. That was Joe Namath, just taking all the credit from himself and throwing it back to me and just saying, ‘Good luck.’ To hear that from a legend like that, it just kind of gives you the chills. It was something special to be a part of, an emotional start, an emotional little pep talk.” Read more...

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers Fred Reid torched the BC Lions defense all night long, and his career performance helped his team earn a lopsided 37-10 victory at Vancouver on Friday night. Reid ran for 260 yards on 26 carries and scored two touchdown passes in the blowout victory.
After the contest, Reid gave credit to his offensive line for making his record rushing output relatively easy:
“Just about every play I was in the secondary. I have to give props to the O-line. They opened some big holes tonight. Before I knew it, I was in the secondary. You know how the DBs are, they don’t really want to tackle back there.”
“We had some good play calling that caught them off guard and some new schemes that they weren’t prepared for. We just executed. It gives us something to build on going in the bye week.”
Winnipeg QB Michael Bishop praised Reid’s monumental effort:
“Fred left it on the field today. To have a guy like that can carry the ball, and do the things he did today, it was amazing. ” Read more...

Heading into last Sunday, there was a consensus that the New York Giants were the best team in the NFL with an undefeated record, a productive offense and the league’s top ranked defense. The New Orleans Saints made a compelling case to the contrary, however, as they dismantled the Giants to win 48-27 behind yet another MVP-like performance from quarterback Drew Brees. Brees threw for 369 yards and four touchdowns with no interceptions as New Orleans kept their record perfect on the season at 5-0. The Giants dropped to 5-1 with the defeat.
NFL betting enthusiasts who took New Orleans as -3 home favorites were confident that they’d be cashing a ticket by halftime as the Saints shot out to a 34-17 lead at the break. The Saints also remained perfect against the NFL pointspread at 5-0, while the Giants failed to cover for the first time this season and stand at 5-1 ATS. The 75 points scored sailed OVER the posted total of 47.
After the game, Brees explained his team’s strategy:
“We wanted to really dictate the tempo of the game the whole way through. Seven different guys scored touchdowns. That’s big. That’s the type of rhythm that, when you get in, you feel like you can call anything and it’s going to work.” Read more...
